Fixed the latch on the halfdoor so I can open it again and organized the garage so I can finally stop tripping over the spare tubes.

This week I finished up the gussets and burned in the top half of the cage, now I just need to remove it and burn in the bottom side. I got in some eletrical stuff so I can start working on that and just waiting on more parts to arrive. Here are some pics of the cage and the seats for the back to replace the bench.

This week I got the last set of diagonal bars tacked in and the harness bar notched and prepped for welding. I finished up the install on the brackets for the front seats and finally figured out how I was going to mount the rear seats. Hopefully I'll get them installed in the next day or two, then pics will follow.

I got the rear seat bracket installed today and did the final fitting of the dash. I'd take pics but my wife is in MI with the camera. Let's see what all I get tomorrow.

With the exception of the harness tabs, the rollcage is fully welded and ground down, I did the final fit of the dash and the glove box. I also had to search for about an hour for all the parts I've bought and stock piled for the last year or so.

I finished cutting off the rest of the brackets from the rear bumper, I swear that they welded it on with wire hangers. Now I can start planning my rear bumper. I also had to redrilled the cage base plates to line up with the frame bushing brackets. The front of my tub has 8 less open holes that have been ground smooth. Hopefully I'll be hitting it with Al's Liner or Raptor Liner in a few weeks.

I went to my dad's this past weekend and picked up some goodies for the bronco and the garage. I got an upper MAF intake, computer, and injectors for a 5.0. I had a lower intake almost off but I snapped the thing in half. The junkyard is going to get me a late model lower this week. Looks like I'll be ordering a new harness this week and really hit the wiring hard again.

Well I finally got some time to work on the Bronco this past week. I cut and drilled the harness tabs and finished drilling the cage mounts through the floor. I also started laying out for the shifter location and the e-brake handle. Today I removed the cage for the last time and welded in the harness tabs and will be prepping it for paint this week. I also will fix the last two small rust spots in the back this week. Next I need to decide what coating I want to put in the tub.

I got an old floor jack from an auction so I can stop climbing under a car to jack it up. It's only slightly larger than a normal floorjack. I also finished cleaning up the cage and loaded it into the truck so I can drop it off for powder coating tomorrow.

Al's Liner showed up today now I just need to go past the paint place to get it to match my dash. This weekend I'll pressure wash the tub and finish welding up the spare holes in the tub.

Started prepping the tub for the new liner. I jet-stripped the old liner and then ground the remnants off. Hopefully I'll be spraying the new liner in a week or so. I also cut in a hole for the cherokee parking brake.

Welded up all the small holes in the tube and picked up the coated cage. It turned out blue-er that I had hoped, but with the dark gray it hopefully won't look that bad. It has a textured finish to hide the grind marks from knocking off some surface rust.
